BAUSW Track
BAUSW Track is a mini-application designed for construction workers to monitor attendance, working hours, and task completion.
Key Features
- Easy login without the need for a user account in the main application
- Automatic monitoring of attendance and time
- Access to tasks with the ability to track time spent on a task
- Offline mode support with automatic synchronization
Accessing the Application
The BAUSW Track application is available for customer installation at the URL /track
(e.g., example.com/track
). The link to the Track application is also located on the login screen of the main application.
Logging into the Application
To log into the application, workers use only a unique 8-digit personal code provided by the project administrator or supervisor.
Personal codes can be managed in the personnel section.
The advantage of logging in with personal codes is a simple and secure login without the need for registration or entering an email address.
In case of loss or forgetting the personal code, the worker must contact the project administrator or supervisor and request a new personal code.
Worker Projects
After logging in, workers are presented with a list of projects. Upon selecting a project, the features for time monitoring and task management become available.
Time Monitoring
The main feature of the BAUSW Track application is the timer, which automatically tracks attendance and working hours. Here’s how it works:
- Upon arrival at the construction site, the worker presses the Clock In button.
- When leaving or taking a break, the worker presses the Clock Off button.
- All records are automatically synchronized to the timesheets in the main application.
Approving Logged Times
Logged times can be approved or rejected in the main application in the timesheets section. Approved records will be marked with a green checkmark (✓), while rejected records will be marked with a red cross (✕) and will not be counted in the total time.
Tasks
The “Tasks” section allows workers to access tasks assigned to them (via the Assigned Workers setting in the task detail).
It enables workers to:
- View task details such as description and attachments
- Check off “subtasks”
- Read and add comments to the task
- Request task approval upon completion
- Start a timer for a specific task
Approving Tasks
After completing a task, the worker requests task approval by pressing the Request Approval button. In the tasks section of the main application, the task will display “Approval Requested”.
After requesting approval, the task will not be displayed to the assigned workers. For the task to reappear in the BAUSW Track application, the responsible person must Cancel Approval in the task edit.
Settings
From the main project overview screen, you can navigate to the application settings section, where you can find options for:
- Setting the application language
- Setting the appearance (theme: light or dark)
- Logging out of the application
